Symphony DEX Update #3
With every market turning red, and investors turning bearish, this has been an overwhelming opportunity for us to build the future we wanted!
And we have never been more bullish!
We are back with another product update, taking notes from our community feedback.
Let’s jump right into it.
Symphony DEX upgrades:
Persist user input data on Reload:
Whenever a user reloads on our dapp earlier user input fields data was lost on refresh. This was pointed out by our community members a week back, and now, the entire user input field data (input token, output token, input token amount, etc) are retained entirety till you close the page.
Exchange Settings:
- During trading, users can access settings related to exchange in the top right section (gear ⚙️ icon) of the exchange view. In the future, any newly added setting can be accessed in this section.
- Price Denomination Toggle: In Exchange Settings, the user can switch between denominations showing it is an advanced option.
UI/UX Improvements:
- The entire Symphony DEX interface has been updated with more vibrant and distinctive colors to improve visibility and usability.
- Added new UI elements to help users easily navigate.
Autofill Limit Price:
Based on the current market price, the limit price will be auto-filled with the respective token.
Order Execution Info:
There is an info text so that the user will get a clear understanding of when the order will get executed just above the place order button. For example, if you place an order for 1 USDC/Matic, it will show “The order will fill when the price of 1 Matic is 1 USDC”
App Settings Section:
A meatball menu icon on the right is added which includes all the earlier separate app-related settings (theme mode, about page, help section, etc) in one single click.
About page:
An all-in-one about page in which ELI5 or “explains like I am 5” description of what Symphony DEX is, how it works, and its benefits are added. This section is also included in the previously mentioned meatball menu icon.
Walkthrough for new users:
A walkthrough has been added to help new users understand Symphony Finance and help them place their first order.
Mobile Interface Optimizations:
We have drastically improved and optimized Symphony DEX’s mobile interface. Minor graphical changes have been done to better suit our mobile users.
Auto wallet switch to connected network:
Auto switch network to the user’s connected chain/network (eg. if user wallet is connected to polygon then auto-connect Symphony to polygon)
